Girl Scouting inspires and empowers girls on their journey of discovery and leadership in a physically and emotionally safe girl-only environment.
The $10 national membership dues go directly to Girl Scouts of the USA. Therefore, the Cahaba Council must seek other sources of funding. Many of the most exciting opportunities we offer girls are made possible through the generous support of our funding partners: volunteers, individuals, parents, businesses, and community organizations.
These partners see the advantages and real results that happen when girls join Girl Scouts: girls get the experience and resources they need to make smart choices that will help them overcome challenges throughout their lives.

A gift to the Girl Scouts of Cahaba Council is an investment in our future.
By contributing, you can help us continue to serve more than 8,500 girls in our seven-county area. These girls need to know they matter. Speak out on their behalf.
You make a difference with your contribution to the 2,700 highly-trained and informed adult volunteers, who support girls ages 5-17 in troops, in schools, at camp, one-on-one, and in life.
The Cahaba Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has served girls in North Central Alabama since 1917. Opportunities to give to the Council include: annual giving, memorial and honoraria, bequests, and planned gifts.
Each year with the leadership of the Board of Directors, a team of volunteers leads the annual fund campaign. This six-pronged approach raises funds to support Council activities. The divisions of the annual fund campaign are Chairman's Roundtable, Directors' Circle, General Gifts, Parent Partner, Board, and Staff. Each division is responsible for attaining an annual goal. With your support, the Cahaba Council is able to offer more and better programs to girls throughout our region.
